Our standard bowls are cast in Red Brass for a longer life and tougher finish. The bowls are thicker than the prototypes and have more material where it matters for a longer life cycle.
The Nathan Style Valve and Bowl is taken directly from the Nathan drawings and is an exact reproduction of the 1911 product. This simple valve is easy to maintain and will give years of reliable life in daily operations.
Our standard cast brass languid plates fit any of our 6″ bowls and are made to railroad industry standards.
Southern Pacific Style Valve and Bowl.
This is our version of the classic “SP” whistle bowl. This bowl uses our standard languid plate and has a replaceable valve guide, stainless steel valve stem and is cast in Red Brass.
